I looked in the mirror and saw my father looking back.
“Mirror” grew from my relationship with my late father, the distance between us, the words left unsaid, and the understanding that came with time. It asks what we carry from the people who raised us and what we choose to pass on.
At its heart is one simple belief: the more love we give, the more we have.
Together with multi instrumentalist Matthew Shad, affectionately known as “the Ginger Prince,” I created a melodic rock ballad that brings that story to life through vocals, guitars and piano. Produced and mixed by Bob St. John and mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound, “Mirror” is a piece of my life that I hope becomes part of yours.
