Growing up, however, there was one artist who captured Chris's imagination perhaps more than any other: Prince. Prince's fearless creativity, extraordinary vocal range, and ability to move effortlessly between musical styles inspired Chris to embrace his own instincts as a musician and songwriter.

Chris's debut single, Promise Me, released May 16, 2025, marked the beginning of his recording career under his independent label, Crimson Star Records. The song brought together an accomplished group of musicians and industry veterans, including multi instrumentalist Matthew Shad, acclaimed engineer Bob St. John, whose work includes Extreme and Collective Soul, and mastering engineer Ted Jensen, whose credits span artists such as the Eagles, Green Day, and Billy Joel.

Building on that foundation, Chris released You and Me on July 11, 2025, followed by Hold My Breath on October 3, 2025. While each song explores different emotions and experiences, they share a common thread: a desire to create music that connects with people in a meaningful way. Whether through a soaring vocal, a carefully placed guitar melody, or a lyric that captures a familiar feeling, Chris approaches songwriting with the belief that the most memorable songs are often the most personal.

That philosophy is especially evident in his fourth single, Mirror, scheduled for release October 16, 2026. Inspired by the loss of his father, the song explores the complicated and often deeply emotional relationship between fathers and sons. Working once again with Matthew Shad, Chris developed Mirror into a melodic rock ballad that balances intimate storytelling with a rich musical arrangement. Bob St. John handled the mixing, while Ted Jensen mastered the recording at Sterling Sound.
